On June 17, 2022, Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has issued Letter No. 2361/BTTTT-KHCN regarding instruction on application and implementation of Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTTTT. Based on this guidance, below new standards can use the local or international test report from ISO 17025 accredited laboratory for the type approval certification and declaration of conformity process:

• QCVN 22:2021/BTTTT (safety requirements for DECT phone)

• QCVN 127:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 5G SA)

• QCVN 128:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 5G Base station)

• QCVN 129:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 5G NSA)

• QCVN 123:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for 40-246GHz SRD)

• QCVN 124:2021/BTTTT (RF standard for vehicle radar 76-77GHz)

This new regulation will be effective from July 1, 2022.
